2. Definitions

You will not misrepresent your qualifications, licences, certifications, business status, or authorization to provide a service.
Kerala Classify may request additional information or supporting documents when reasonably necessary to establish the authenticity of a listing, investigate a complaint, or comply with applicable law.
Submission of a listing does not automatically guarantee publication, approval, a particular search position, or continued display.
6. Listing Review, Approval and Removal
Kerala Classify may review submitted listings and may approve, reject, edit, restrict, temporarily hide, or remove a listing where reasonably necessary.
Reasons may include:
Inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information.
Duplicate or impersonation listings.
Suspected fraudulent or unlawful activities.
Content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights.
Misleading claims about qualifications, verification, or certifications.
Spam, abusive material, or prohibited content.
Failure to comply with these Terms or applicable law.
A lawful request from a competent authority.
Where appropriate, we may request corrections before taking further action.
Nothing in this section prevents a user or business owner from exercising rights available under applicable law.
7. Free and Paid Listing Services
Kerala Classify may offer free listings and paid listing plans.
The features, duration, fees, eligibility, and applicable conditions of each plan will be described on the relevant pricing page, order page, proposal, or invoice.
Paid features may include, where offered:
Additional business profile fields.
Photo galleries and enhanced presentation.
Additional contact or website options.
Featured or priority promotional placement.
Advertising or visibility-related services.
Other listing features described in the applicable plan.
A feature is included only where it is expressly offered for the selected plan.
A free listing does not automatically include every feature available under a paid plan. Similarly, purchasing a paid plan does not guarantee a specific number of enquiries, calls, leads, customers, sales, or revenue.
8. Fees, Payments and Taxes
The applicable price and service duration will be communicated before a paid service is purchased.
By purchasing a paid service, you agree to pay the disclosed charges in accordance with the payment instructions provided by Kerala Classify.
The following conditions apply:
Payments must be made through the payment methods authorized for the service.
Applicable taxes, including GST where required by law, will be charged as applicable.
A service may remain inactive until the required payment has been successfully received and any necessary information has been provided.
Payment confirmation, invoices, and other service communications may be sent electronically using the contact information supplied by the customer.
Additional services, upgrades, or extensions may attract additional charges, which will be communicated before purchase.
Do not make payments to unauthorized individuals or accounts claiming to represent Kerala Classify. If you receive a suspicious payment request, contact us through our official communication channels before proceeding.
9. Subscription Duration and Renewal
Each paid listing or promotional service will have the duration specified at the time of purchase.
A subscription will not automatically renew unless automatic renewal has been clearly disclosed and validly authorized by the customer.
When a paid service expires, paid features or promotional placements may be discontinued. The underlying listing may remain available as a free listing where the platform supports this and the listing continues to comply with applicable policies.
Customers wishing to continue a paid service may renew it under the plans and prices available at that time.
Changes to pricing will not retroactively change the amount already paid for an existing fixed-term service, except where agreed by the customer or permitted by applicable law.
10. Cancellation, Refunds and Service Issues
Cancellation and refund eligibility will depend on the service purchased, the applicable plan terms, the stage of service delivery, and applicable consumer protection laws.
Before purchasing a paid service, customers should review the refund or cancellation conditions displayed on the relevant pricing page, order page, or written proposal.

Listing positions and visibility may change because of factors such as:

Listing completeness and relevance.

Other reasonable ranking and display considerations.
Where a paid service includes a specified promotional placement, the applicable description and duration will be governed by the relevant plan or written agreement.
Unless expressly guaranteed in writing, Kerala Classify does not promise:
A fixed or permanent search ranking.
A particular volume of website traffic.
A minimum number of calls, clicks, enquiries, or leads.
A particular number of customers or completed transactions.
Any specific sales, revenue, or business outcome.
The effectiveness of a listing or advertisement may depend on market demand, customer preferences, competition, business responsiveness, pricing, and other factors outside our control.
12. Business Information and Verification
Business information may be provided by business owners, authorized representatives, public sources, or other permitted sources.
Kerala Classify may conduct checks on certain listings or information where appropriate. However, the presence of a listing does not, by itself, mean that the business has been independently verified, licensed, certified, or endorsed by Kerala Classify.
Any verification badge or status must be interpreted according to the verification process expressly described by the platform.
Verification of particular details does not necessarily establish the quality, legality, financial standing, reliability, or performance of the business.
Business owners are responsible for maintaining accurate information. Users should independently assess a business and confirm important details before making payments, sharing sensitive information, booking services, or entering into a transaction.
13. User Reviews and Ratings
Where review and rating features are available, users must submit genuine feedback based on their actual experiences or other information they are entitled to share.
Reviews must not contain:
Fabricated experiences or deliberately false claims.
Threats, harassment, hate speech, or abusive content.
Personal information that should not be publicly disclosed.
Advertising, spam, or undisclosed promotional material presented as independent feedback.

14. User-Submitted Content and Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of content that you lawfully own and submit to Kerala Classify.
By submitting content, you grant Kerala Classify a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, format, display, and distribute that content as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, promote, and improve the platform and the listing or service for which it was submitted.
This licence continues for as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes, subject to applicable law, the relevant service terms, and any applicable removal or retention requirements.
You confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions to submit the content and authorize its permitted use.

Kerala Classify is not responsible for a business’s failure to deliver, product defects, service quality, booking disputes, payment disputes, cancellations, or representations, except to the extent responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded or is expressly assumed under a separate agreement.
17. Privacy and Personal Information

18. Service Availability and Modifications

20. Limitation of Liability

This provision does not exclude or limit liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, obligations that cannot legally be excluded, or any other liability that applicable law requires us to retain.
Where a separate written agreement governs a paid service, any additional liability provisions in that agreement will apply to the extent they are consistent with applicable law.
21. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by applicable law, a business owner or user may be responsible for losses, claims, or reasonable expenses arising directly from their unlawful conduct, material breach of these Terms, infringement of another person’s rights, or misleading content they supplied.
This section does not make a user responsible for losses caused by Kerala Classify’s own unlawful conduct or other circumstances for which the user cannot legally be held liable.
22. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using the platform at any time.
Kerala Classify may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to an account or listing where reasonably necessary because of a material breach of these Terms, fraud, security concerns, unlawful activity, or a legal requirement.
Where appropriate and legally permissible, we may notify the affected user and provide an opportunity to correct the issue or submit an explanation.
Termination does not automatically remove payment obligations already incurred or eliminate rights and remedies available under applicable law.
The treatment of any prepaid service following suspension or termination will be governed by the applicable plan terms, the circumstances of the suspension or termination, and applicable law.
23. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our services, business practices, technical requirements, or legal obligations.
The revised version will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
Where required by law, or where a change materially affects an existing customer arrangement, we will provide notice or obtain consent as applicable.
