Goec Charging Station Alappuzha

Goec Charging Station Alappuzha is a dependable EV charging point at Kalavoor, Alappuzha, Keralam 688522, close to the busy NH 66 corridor. It runs on the GO EC charging network and serves electric vehicle owners who travel between Alappuzha, Cherthala and Kochi and need a quick, convenient stop to top up their battery.

The station has a 30 kW DC fast charger with a CCS Type 2 connector, which works with most modern electric cars sold in India. Compared with slow home charging, DC fast charging adds a meaningful amount of range in a short time. That makes it a good fit for long-distance drives, taxi operators and fleet vehicles. Charging rates are variable and depend on the time of day.

Using the station is simple. Drivers download the GOEC app, register, and top up the wallet through UPI, cards or other online payment options. They then scan the charger and start charging. The app also lets users find nearby chargers, view live charging status, get a notification when charging is complete and check their transaction history. Access is membership based, so new users should register in the app before they arrive.

Kalavoor’s position on the national highway makes it a practical halt for travellers heading to Alappuzha’s backwaters, beaches and houseboat destinations. While the vehicle charges, drivers can rest or explore nearby places. Charger availability and rates may change, so check the live status in the app before you travel. For EV owners in Alappuzha, this station is a useful addition to Kerala’s growing charging network.
