Honda has hiked the prices of the Dio BS6 and updated it on its website. The bike is now pricier by Rs 553. The Dio STD variant now retails for Rs 60,542 and the Dio DLX variant for Rs 63,892. He Dio BS6 is powered by an all-new 109.51cc motor that is now fuel-injected compared to the previous engine’s carburettor. Power is down, torque is up, and the new motor pumps out 7.76PS at 8000rpm and 9Nm of peak torque at 4750 rpm — 0.16PS less 0.09Nm more than the BS4 model. It is silently brought to life by an ACG starter. For the first time, the Dio now features a telescopic fork up front as well as a 12-inch wheel. At the rear, you continue to get a 10-inch wheel suspended by a monoshock. Unfortunately, you don’t get the option of alloy wheels or disc brakes on any of the variants. Wheelbase has gone up by 22mm which should aid straight-line stability.
